Weekend Links
It's been a long and emotional week over here—I'm definitely looking forward to the weekend. I think we're going to stay in and watch this tonight. Have a relaxing weekend, and if you want to check out a few interesting links on the web...
The weather has been beautiful this week which has helped with my mood. Also all the butterflies that have invaded Montreal! Walking my son to daycare in the morning has been beautiful this week—we've been able to watch the butterflies dancing on the breeze!
Have you seen the best recipe comment ever? Here is a neat article about the backstory.
It's been 10 years since Gossip Girl premiered! I've been enjoying all of the coverage for the 10th anniversary. This is a good long read about the series from Vanity Fair. How the best part of the show was talking about the show (I think this is how I started reading New York Magazine). And Blair's headbands ranked.
You've heard of the Kate effect? Now there is a George effect. For lentils. And speaking of the royals, apparently people were really into this photo of the Queen and Governor General Designate Julie Payette.
I'm almost done The Ministry of Utmost Happiness (I've really enjoyed it). I'm looking for a new book to read. Maybe the new Celeste Ng from this list?
Top photo is from this old post here.
XOXO
