Weekend Links
We're in for a cold and snowy weekend (almost another foot of snow is on the way!) and are planning on cuddling up and laying low this weekend. Stay cozy and I hope you have a great weekend!
To get you started here are some fun links from around the web:
I like this idea of 18 goals for 2018. Maybe I'll do this too.
One of my favourite authors wrote a short piece about her kitchens and what they say about her life.
In the same publication: I Was a Bank Robber Until I Read Kant.
My son is not one to sit quietly and be entertained with a colouring book (two disastrous meals out last weekend were proof). He does love to figure things out and do up buckles though, so I ordered him this toy. So far it's been a success and entertained him at the doctor's office yesterday afternoon.
I liked the Fug Girls take on red carpet fashion and #metoo. "It’s always been our belief that one can be interested in fashion, and makeup, and all the associated elements, while also being a serious person who cares about the world and above all does not support sexual harassment, abuse, inequality, and their wretched kin." I agree.
Speaking of fashion, I love how Meghan Markle is putting her own spin on royal style. I totally envy her style, and her coat game is on point.
Trading Spaces is coming back?
XOXO
