Summer is the time for fun, easy-on-the-brain books. Two beach reads I'm looking forward to this summer:
Party Girls Die in Pearls by Plum Sykes - This book popped up in my Instafeed with the caption "'too Agatha Christie for words' and therefore the perfect, charming summer mystery." Right up my alley!
Into the Water by Paula Hawkins - I'm looking forward to this new thriller by the author of The Girl on the Train. The plot involves the drownings of two women, a single mother and a teenage girl, in a the same body of water where women accused of witchcraft were punished centuries earlier. I expect the same riveting plot twists and tricks of memory as in The Girl on the Train.
