My husband's office Christmas party is going to be in Quebec City this year and I'm so excited to go! It's a dressy party, yet has a lumber jack theme (only in la belle province could this be a thing?!?). I think I'm going to wear this dress from my closet (I love that it has long sleeves) and I ordered a pair of buffalo check tights off of Amazon which I think that will fit the theme. And I'm toying with pairing them with a pair of wooly socks like this. And maybe a toque?
If I didn't have such an interesting(!) dress code to follow, this is what I would wear...
A beautiful, simple red dress, with just enough embellishment to make it special. (And with long sleeves to keep me warm.)
A gorgeous wool coat to wrap up in style to and fro.
Pointy patent leather pumps with a comfortable heel.
A classic minimalist clutch to carry essentials. (Like this red lipstick).
Modern gold earrings (handmade in Canada) for the perfect finishing touch.
